Orthodontic evaluations are essential for children and adults alike. Find out if there is need for braces or not. And if the answer is yes, a determination can be made as to which treatment method is most appropriate for your unique needs, preferences, and budget. At Woodhaven Braces, we’re dedicated to the most pleasant, effective, and comfortable care with a focus on results. In the end, you or your child will experience a more appealing smile and one that is free from the discomfort and other consequences of being improperly aligned.
For your child, an evaluation should be conducted by our Woodhaven orthodontist by the time she or he has turned 7. Doing so allows for any concerns to be noted and dealt with before they have the chance to grow worse. If you wait until he or she is a teenager, the level of treatment can be considerably more complicated, necessitating more time and more expense. You should be on the lookout for the following signs, among others, that your child should come in for an evaluation, even if she or he has not yet turned 7: finger or thumb sucking, misplaced teeth, difficulties chewing, mouth breathing, baby teeth either falling out early or staying in too long, locked out teeth, jaws clicking or making other noises, and jaws that are out of proportion to the rest of the face. As an adult, you are not immune to needing braces. Come in and let our Woodhaven orthodontist examine you and make an assessment of how you may or may not benefit from treatment at this stage of your life.
Whether for you or your child (or both!), simply reach out to our office right now and let us schedule an appointment for you to come in for an evaluation with our Woodhaven orthodontist.
